Christian Distinctiveness

As a church school, we are proud of our connections with our local church and clergy, St Benet’s Multi-academy Trust and the Diocese of Norwich. Together we work hard to ensure all of our children achieve academically, spiritually, physically, artistically and technically.

Our school is open to all and accepting of all, regardless of faith. A Christian ethos, our core vision and our values set our culture and shape the education which our children receive. We welcome all families, of any religion and of none and are here to serve our local community. Although our values are deeply-rooted within the Christian faith, our approach is very much one of inclusivity. The education offered by all schools within the Diocesan family encourages dignity, respect and living well together, shares other worldviews and helps prepare pupils for life in modern Britain.

Below you will find several documents which will help you to explore what being a church school means to us. Ignite is our core offer which shows our commitment to developing our children beyond our taught curriculum, including supporting them to reflect on and develop their own spirituality and sense of self.
